  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then drain them thoroughly and set aside.
Assembly
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and drained noodles, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and frozen peas.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. If desired, prepare the topping by mixing crushed potato chips and melted butter, then sprinkle it over the casserole.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
