Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 medium-sized chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and pound them to an even thickness if they are very thick.
Marinating
  1. In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
Preheat Grill
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-450°F or 190-230°C). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Grilling
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the hot grill. Grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest and Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and flavorful.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator. Adjust seasonings to your taste, adding herbs like oregano or thyme if desired.
