  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions, then drain it and set aside about 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat, adding a little pasta water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer sauce, use full-fat heavy cream. You can also add cooked chicken or shrimp for a more substantial meal.
