Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, and melted butter; stir until well combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the corn mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Serving
  1. If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top during the last 10 minutes of baking. Let stand for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes
