Salad
  • 6 cups Romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 Chicken breast cooked and diced
  • 4 Bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 Hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • 1 cup Tomatoes chopped
  • 0.5 cup Blue cheese crumbled
Dressing
  • 3 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.125 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Arrange the chopped romaine lettuce as the base of the salad on a large platter or in a salad bowl.
  2. Neatly arrange rows of diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped hard-boiled eggs, diced avocado, chopped tomatoes, and crumbled blue cheese over the lettuce.
Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Serving
  1. Drizzle the dressing generously over the salad just before serving.

Notes

For best results, prepare the dressing fresh and add it just before serving to prevent the lettuce from wilting. You can also customize your Cobb salad with additional vegetables like cucumber or bell peppers.
