Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Small bowl
  • Basting brush

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped dill, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to create the herb mixture.
Grilling
  1. Brush both sides of the salmon fillets with the herb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill, skin-side down first if applicable, and grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky.
  3. During the last few minutes of grilling, place lemon slices directly on the salmon fillets or around them on the grill for extra flavor.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the grilled salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  2. Garnish with extra fresh herbs and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, if desired.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality salmon. Adjust grilling time based on the thickness of your fillets and your desired doneness. A meat thermometer should read 145°F (63°C) for cooked salmon.
