Notes
For best results, use good quality cream cheese and fresh chives. You can adjust the seasoning to your taste. If you prefer a thinner dip, add a little more clam juice or a splash of milk. Alternatively, if you like a thicker dip, reduce the amount of reserved clam juice. This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days; however, fresh chives are best added just before serving. Serving with a variety of dippers like baguette slices, pita bread, or bell pepper strips can enhance the experience. For an extra kick, a dash of hot sauce can be added to the mix. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the dip. You can also mix in a little lemon juice for a brighter flavor profile. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for smooth mixing results. It is important that all ingredients are fresh for optimal taste.
