  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

How to Make Homemade Ranch Dressing
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk, and sour cream, then whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and whisk again until all ingredients are well combined.

Notes

For best flavor, let the dressing chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together. You can also adjust the consistency by adding more or less buttermilk.
