- Dice the tomatoes, finely dice the onion, mince the jalapeño, and chop the fresh cilantro.
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, finely diced onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
- Pour the freshly squeezed lime juice over the vegetable mixture and add salt to taste.
- Stir all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined. For best flavor, let the pico de gallo sit for at least 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For an extra kick, leave some of the jalapeño seeds in. This Pico de Gallo is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
