  • 0.5 tsp Sriracha (optional)

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, napa cabbage, julienned carrots, sliced red bell pepper, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, and mandarin oranges. Toss gently to combine all the salad ingredients.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sriracha if desired. Mix until the dressing is well combined and emulsified.
Assembly
  1. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated. Ensure that all components are well-distributed within the dressing for optimal flavor.
  2. Serve immediately, or chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This enhances the overall taste and crispness of the salad.
